Soon Chai Gooi is senior vice president, Keysight Technologies, and president of the Electronic Industrial Solutions Group, which addresses the automotive, energy, general electronics, manufacturing, and semiconductor businesses.

Soon Chai is also responsible for Keysight’s order fulfillment, global sourcing, and IT functions. This includes the end-to-end supply chain that encompasses manufacturing operations, engineering, technology centers, and worldwide logistics; global sourcing and strategic supplier management; as well as IT infrastructure and application services.

He was previously the president of Agilent order fulfillment for the company’s Life Sciences, Chemical Analysis and Electronic Measurement business groups. He was responsible for leading efforts to leverage the company’s strength in supply chain and engineering operations across the three business groups.

In 2006, he became vice president and general manager of the Electronic Instruments business unit at Agilent Technologies. In this role, he managed a diverse portfolio of businesses serving the general purpose, semiconductor, board test, and nanotechnology markets.

He holds a bachelor of science degree, with first-class honors, in electrical and electronics engineering from the University of London, and a master of science degree in computing science from the Imperial College of Science and Technology, London.

Donna Majcen is vice president of global marketing for Keysight Technologies. She leads a global team responsible for deploying all customer-facing marketing communication, including regional events and digital marketing strategies company-wide.

During her 30-year tenure at Hewlett-Packard/Agilent/Keysight, Donna has served in a variety of management roles across marketing, planning, product management, and business development.

Donna holds a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Vermont.

Lawrence Liu

Lawrence is the general manager for Asia Pacific Sales (SAP) Operations at Keysight Technologies. He is responsible for the entire South Asia Pacific field operations that spanned across sales, marketing, application and consulting groups.

Lawrence started his career with Hewlett-Packard in 1997 as an application engineer, focused on provided training and consultancy services to customers in the wireless and RFuW market segment. Lawrence was widely accepted and regard by the industries as a wireless subject matter expert during the time when cellular technology like GSM was  introduced. He has conducted countless impactful wireless technologies training and seminars as well as providing consulting services to OEM and EMS on cellular manufacturing test strategies.  

In 2000, Lawrence joined the sales organization, where he was responsible for managing global accounts in Singapore. With his strong foundation of technical background plus the regional sales experience, Lawrence has transformed the business from one that heavily reliance on manufacturing to a well-balanced business portfolio that spans across other segments like Education, Aerospace Defense and Research & Development. 

Lawrence holds a first class honors degree in electrical, electronics and communications engineering from Glasgow University in the United Kingdom.

Ashok Sethu

Head of Data Analytics Enterprise, Nemo Wireless Solutions Group

Ashok Sethu is the head of data analytics enterprise in the Nemo Wireless Solutions Group at Keysight Technologies, Chantilly, Virginia. He joined Keysight through the Anite Telecoms acquisition in 2015. He was chief technology officer of Xceed Technologies, which he co-founded in 2003. Xceed specialized in providing software products and big data solutions for the network performance management and optimization of live wireless networks. Anite acquired Xceed in 2014, a year before Keysight acquire Anite.

Ashok has 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with other roles as a distinguished member of technical staff at Alcatel-Lucent and as a principal engineer at LCC International.

He received his bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the National University of Singapore and worked as an application engineer in the Test & Measurement Group of Hewlett-Packard Singapore from 1990 to 1992.

Ashok subsequently migrated to the United States and obtained his master's in electrical engineering from Rutgers University in New Jersey. He worked on his thesis in a laboratory specializing in wireless network studies called the Wireless Information Network Laboratory.

Thomas Goetzl

Thomas Goetzl is the business manager for power applications in the Automotive and Energy Solutions business unit based in Boeblingen, Germany. Thomas’s focus is on test solutions for smart grid, power semiconductors, battery manufacturing, and lab management software.

In addition, Thomas is helping build the automotive customer center at SIAC, Shanghai. Plus, he has been leading the business integration of Keysight’s Scienlab acquisition.

Thomas joined Hewlett-Packard in 1994 as a technical marketing engineer, supporting IT management applications for remote software maintenance. During his time with HP, Agilent Technologies, and now Keysight Technologies, Thomas has managed many R&D projects, created marketing programs, and developed dedicated sales channels. He was named marketing manager in 2005. In 2012, Thomas became worldwide marketing manager for the Electronic Test Division. He has been defining and implementing programs for the automotive industry since 2012.

Thomas holds a degree in electronics engineering and computer science from the Fachhochschule Furtwangen, Germany.

Greg Le Cheminant is a measurement applications specialist and strategic planner for digital communications analysis products in the Internet Infrastructure Solutions Group. He is responsible for the development of measurement applications and products for the group’s optical communications test products. He represents Keysight on several industry standards committees.

Greg has been with Keysight, Agilent, and Hewlett-Packard since 1985. He has five years’ experience in manufacturing engineering followed by various technical marketing positions. He is a contributing author to four textbooks on high-speed digital communications and has written numerous technical articles on test-related topics. He holds two patents.

Greg obtained a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering technology and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from Brigham Young University.

Jaehyuk Kim

JaeHyuk has a total of 19 years experience in mobile Handset RF Hardware, RF transceiver development, mmWave transmission, and solutions implementation.

Prior to joining Keysight in 2018 as a applications consultant, he held the position as a base-station system development engineer in Sunwave Tech and soon moved to LG Electronics as a chief engineer in mobile hardware development. 

During his time with LG, he was responsible for new solutions implementation of methodologies, simulation method verification for mmWave transmission lines as well as technical troubleshooting with EDA tools for noise and signal integrity.

Renu Chandrakaisan is the services business development manager for the Southeast Asia region. She has 13 years of experience in the test and measurement industry. Renu has held various positions in the organization, including in business, marketing program management, and technical marketing. She has prior experience in contract manufacturing as well.

Renu joined Keysight (then Agilent Technologies) in 2006. She holds a bachelor’s degree in information technology from the National University of Malaysia and master of science degree in computer science (AI), from the University of Science Malaysia. She is also a certified Project Management Professional.

Choon Sze Ng

Choon Sze Ng has been working in the test and measurement industry for more than 20 years. He is the software solution manager on the solution management and development team of the South Asia Pacific Application Engineer Organization.

In his current role, he helps engineers in the R&D field automate their work to improve productivity and accuracy. Prior to this, he provided technical consultancy that focused on signal integrity testing in the area of optical transceiver testing and silicon photonics as well as high-speed digital signal testing such as HDMI, SATA, and DDR. He has experience in embedded circuit development and testing for various applications involving circuit, hardware, and printed circuit board design, including firmware development.

Choon Sze holds a bachelor’s degree from Nanyang Technological University, majoring in electrical and electronics engineering.

Seung Taek is an automotive solutions manager for the Automotive and Energy Solutions business segment at Keysight Technologies and is responsible for strategy and marketing management for the connected car, eCall, V2X, and infotainment test solutions.

Sook Hua Wong is an industry segment manager with Keysight Technologies based in Penang, Malaysia. She manages the solution road map, runs marketing programs, and drives growth in the Internet of Things (IoT) segment at Keysight Technologies.

Prior to this role, she was the product planner responsible for strategic planning and product portfolio development for RF/microwave power meters and sensors.

Seung Chul Shin is a product planner for automotive R&D technologies in the Automotive and Energy Solutions team and a technical representative for automotive radar technologies at Keysight Technologies. He serves as a committee member in the European Standards Association.

Seung Chul joined the company in 1999. He has held a variety of positions in software-defined radio (SDR) digital IF/RF R&D for base station, including regional marketing program manager, wireless applications engineer, and Asia business development manager during his tenure in the R&D sector of Hyundai Electronics and the test and measurement sector of Keysight Technologies.

Seung Chul received his master’s degrees in electronic and computer science for SDR from Korea University and has published various papers with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

Kar Hooi Kuan has been working in the test and measurement industry for more than 12 years. He has been supporting high-speed digital signal integrity testing in areas such as PCI Express®, USB, SATA, DDR3, and optical transceiver testing in the Southeast Asia region.

Over the years, he has delivered a wide range of support and training on high-speed applications in physical and protocol layers test equipment. Prior to working for Keysight, he worked for Altera as an applications engineer.

Derek Yu is responsible for the Keysight i1000D product and support field team, growing South Asia’s businesses. His main role is to develop the i1000D tester to fulfill customers’ expectations and solve their challenges.

Derek has been with Keysight/Agilent for more than 10 years and is based in Taiwan. His previous role was marketing technical engineer for i1000D, and his main responsibility was to provide technical knowledge to solve customers’ issues.

He has a deep understanding of the customers’ perspective. Japanese customers typically understand manufacturing defects analyzer systems, which provides open/short and component tests only. He won the first i1000D tester deal in Japan by providing new test methods and innovations to gain customers’ confidence through evaluation.

Teong Seng Koay

Teong Seng Koay began his career in 2008 with Agilent as an RF software qualification engineer for the Mobile Broadband Operation. He was responsible for qualifying software development to comply with 3GPP specifications for 2G, 3G, and 4G technologies.

In 2009, Teong Seng moved to the Measurement System Division in Agilent as a system application engineer. His responsibility was to understand customers’ requirements and provide a turnkey solution, from pre-sales through design, development, and post-sales activities.

In 2014, Teong Seng joined Tekmark Group, a Keysight’s authorized technology partner, as a senior application engineer to develop Tekmark’s system integration business using Keysight’s full portfolio. In 2017, Teong Seng joined Keysight as a pre-sales engineer and subsequently moved to Automotive and Energy Solutions in 2019.

Teong Seng holds a bachelor’s degree in microelectronic engineering from Liverpool John Moores University.

Jae Yong Chang is the senior product manager for Keysight’s oscilloscope product line in the Communications Solutions Group based in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

He joined Hewlett-Packard Korea in 1990 as an R&D design engineer and has held various positions in R&D and marketing at HP, Agilent Technologies, and Keysight Technologies.

He received his BA and MS degrees in physics from Sogang University, Seoul, Korea.

Chin Aik Lee is the product manager for power meter/sensor products. He is responsible for power meter/sensor business development, order generation, product pricing/discontinuation management, and field engagement. He provides consultancy and training to worldwide field operations as well as new product launches.

Chin Aik joined Agilent in 2000 as a test engineer for the Signal Analysis Division. He worked in new product introduction projects and set up new test systems from development to manufacturing. He was also responsible for test system infrastructure setup, system calibration, and verification, as well as product firmware evaluation. Chin Aik was named an application engineer for power meter/sensor for the Basic Instruments Division in August 2006. He was responsible for new product launches, and technical writing, and he provided consultancy and technical training to worldwide field operations. He became application/business development manager in 2017 before becoming product manager in 2018.

Robin has more than 15 years of sales and business development experience in the Testing, inspection & certification industry. He has served customers from various market segments such as aerospace, automotive, electronics, petrochemical and medical.

He joined Kenwood Technologies, Agilent Technologies, FARO Technologies, and Underwriters Laboratories before venture his career with Keysight Technologies. 

Robin holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He enjoys soccer, swimming, and jogging during his leisure time.
