Basic Spectrum Analyzer Measurements for
Automotive Applications Workshop

This is a basic RF course that will discuss the basics of network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators. Examples and demonstrations are mostly geared toward the automotive market where each attendee will have the opportunity for hands on measurements using Keysight's FieldFox handheld analyzers. Time is provided for basic questions and to go deeper on certain concepts during a product fair to better understand the what, how, and why of spectrum analysis.

This workshop is ideal for engineers, technicians, and managers in power electronics who need to optimize their power converter circuits across all phases of the design cycle. You will learn about power device and component evaluation (including the use of wide bandgap (WBG) devices), design simulations, and device debug and optimization.

You will get extensive hands-on experience performing a broad range of measurements including frequency response testing using an oscilloscope with the power measurements option and voltage & current probes that have been optimized for power supply testing. You will also gain experience making high accuracy power measurements using a power analyzer.
