DSS Functional and Performance Verification 

DSS functional and performance verification is critical to enabling DSS to have significant impact on mobile network performance. DSS performance may vary by network vendor because 3GPP specifications allow a great deal of freedom on DSS implementation, leaving room for differentiation among different vendors. The proprietary implementation of the base station packet scheduler at the heat of DSS functionality can also vary by infrastructure vendor. End-to-end testing in this context means testing the complete network with real devices in the exact configuration as end users both in the lab and in the field.
