Optimize your testing time with Eggplant Test 6.4
In the latest release of Keysight’s Eggplant Test, we’ve added functionality to help you optimize your testing. You can now receive notification of your test results by email and optimize your test configuration schedules based off availability of environments and licenses with our new calendar view.
Why you need to optimize time in test automation
1. Efficiency
You can ensure that tests are executed as quickly as possible and that the test automation process is running at peak performance. This helps to minimize downtime and ensure that your team can focus on other important tasks.
2. Cost-effective
You can reduce the overall cost of the process and ensure that you are getting the most value for your investment.
3. Improved Quality
You can improve the quality of the tests and ensure that you are identifying and fixing any issues as soon as possible.
Optimizing testing time can help to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the test automation process, and ultimately lead to a better product.
How can you optimize your time with Eggplant Test?
Eggplant is releasing two features to help you optimize both your time and your testing schedules.
Email Notification
Email notifications can be a useful feature for keeping track of the status of your test cases in Eggplant Test. By setting up notifications to be sent when a test run is complete or when a test case fails, you can stay informed about the progress of your testing without needing to constantly check the status of your test cases.
This can be particularly useful if you are working on other tasks or if you are not able to monitor the status of your test cases in real-time. Receiving email notifications can also help team members stay informed about the status of the test automation process and take any necessary action in a timely manner.
Email notifications help improve the efficiency of the testing process by keeping you informed about the status of your test cases and allowing you to respond quickly to any issues that may arise.

Calendar View
The Calendar View in Eggplant Test is a useful tool for scheduling and optimizing test execution. By providing visibility into the schedules of your test configurations, the Calendar View helps you coordinate the use of your execution environments and optimize their availability. This ensures you are making the most efficient use of your resources and minimizing any potential delays in the testing process.
Additionally, the calendar view can help you keep track of the availability of licenses, which can be important for ensuring that you have the necessary resources available to complete your testing on time. Calendar View is a valuable tool for optimizing the time and resources used in your testing efforts.
