Advanced Fault Injection Training (June 30-July 2)
The training will be conducted by Niek Timmers, Co-Founder and Device Security Expert at Raelize, renowned for his groundbreaking work in fault injection methodologies. Niek's approach combines rigorous technical analysis with practical exploitation techniques, by performing real-world Fault Injection attacks using a virtual machine (VM) with all the required tooling installed, as well as access to the necessary hardware.
Registration fee: €3,000 per person
By the end of the full program, you will be able to:
- Understand and implement expert-level Fault Injection techniques
- Identify non-obvious vulnerabilities using advanced FI approaches
- Create sophisticated FI exploits with commercial-grade tools
- Reproduce high-caliber security research originally conducted by FI experts
"Fault Injection is often the weapon of choice for breaking into devices when exploitable software vulnerabilities are not known or absent. While Fault Injection attacks are nowadays common, typical concepts, methodologies, techniques, and attacks are often not sufficiently understood. Simply achieving random glitches isn't enough for developing innovative attacks "- Niek Timmers, Co-Founder and Device Security Expert at Raelize
This training reveals the true "Art of Fault Injection" (TAoFI), empowering participants to exploit the full potential of these powerful techniques.
Device Security Workshop (July 2)
Following the intensive training, our one-day workshop will explore the latest updates in embedded security across multiple industries. Gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, learn from industry experts, and network with fellow professionals across the security landscape. The workshop will dive deep into the latest updates in embedded security covering all industries - from Semiconductors and Test Labs to Aerospace & Defense, OEMs, Device Manufacturers, and Research Institutes. Key topics include Post-Quantum Cryptography, Artificial Intelligence in security testing, and an introduction to the Next Generation Embedded Security Testbench (PXI).
Registration is free of charge
All necessary equipment will be provided in Riscure's professional training facilities in Delft. Participants need only bring their expertise and curiosity.
