Keysight is pleased to introduce BenchVue Basic to all users, allowing them to experience this instrument control app for free without requiring any licensing. Moreover, BenchVue Basic apps provide hassle-free unlimited access to full features without any time limit.
Since it is now completely free, the BenchVue Basic app does not include a KeysightCare subscription and is always one version behind the paid BenchVue app which is always the latest version. This provides a cadence of continuous improvements and enhancements even if it is free! Of course it is encouraged for users to upgrade to the purchased version at any time to obtain the latest version and KeysightCare support.
BenchVue Basic apps will be released in phases for Digital Multimeter (DMM), Power Supply (PS), Function Generator (FG), Oscilloscope (OSC), Data Acquisition (DAQ), Electronic Loads (EL), Power Meter/Power Sensors (PM), USB Modulars (USB), and Universal Counter (UC) applications. The first phase, which is available now, covers the DMM, FG, PS, OSC, and DAQ applications, with the rest of the remaining apps following suit.
All BenchVue Basic apps support all instrument models currently supported by BenchVue.
