Balaji Raghothaman is currently Chief Technologist, 6G, at Keysight Technologies, where he is shaping the company’s 6G technology strategy and roadmap. Balaji leads key industry and academic collaborations and early proofs-of-concept in wide ranging areas including RAN and PHY protocols, extreme MIMO, AI/ML, and sensing. He conceptualized and manages the Keysight AI Lab in Santa Clara, CA. Balaji is Keysight’s prime delegate in the AI-RAN Alliance, leading its Test Methodology Taskgroup. He also is Keysight’s Primary Delegate to the FCC Technical Advisory Council, and leads the testing-related work in its AI/ML subgroup. He is active in O-RAN (co-leader of the nGRG Research Platforms stream) and the NextG Alliance. Balaji has more than 65 patents (granted and pending) and 30+ publications to his name.
