Update the unit's Firmware
-----------------------------------------------------------

For updating the 81180B's firmware you should do the following steps:

1.	Turn ON the 81180B power and select the communication interface that you like
2.	Install the FPGA & Firmware Update Tool application on your PC and launch it
3.	Select the unit that you like to update from the units list
3.	Press on Browse, open the binary firmware file and press on Update
5.	Once it finished the update, close the software and wait till the unit will finish rebooting

1.	Fixing the USB interface module
	The Termination Character State in the USB communication module was opposite. 

2.	Fixing the last step of the sequence table
	In sequence table which had the maximum number of lines, the two last lines had the same id number.
 
3.	Fixing Save Last Setting application
	The Save Last Setting did not work when powering off the unit



[ Firmware 3.10]

All modifications are new features 

1.	Store/Recall application
	Changed the Store/Recall application, to work with text file for setups and bin files for waves instead of storing the unit's setup image

2. 	New built-in Modulations
	Add FSK, Frequency Hop, Chirp, ASK, Amplitude Hop, (n)PSK and (n)QAM modulation into the modulation menu.

3.	Ext. Sample Clock range
	Expand the External Sample Clock range to work over the entire sample clock range and not only from 2GS/s to 4.6GS/s.
	The External Sample Clock in 81180B hardware B and C1 will work from 300MS/s to 4.6GS/s and in hardware D over the entire sample clock range

4.	LXI-C-1.4 compliance
	Available in 81180B hardware D only

5.	Issue one Firmware file for all 81180B's types
	Consolidate all 81180B's Firmware’s into one Firmware file. This new file support 81180B boards B, C1 and D with any of the options 116, 164, 216 and 264.
