Panel Participant: Lucas Hansen
Title: Vice President & General Manager - Wireless & Satellite Direct-to-Device Communications
Room: 146C

Abstract: While the telecommunications industry is still in the very early stages of 5G development, some are already preparing for the "next G." How will the 6G concept evolve and what does this development mean for the satellite industry? Speakers on our 6G panel will share their visions of how an integrated 6G network of networks will function, as well as the results of early research on the concept. The discussion will also include technical requirements for 6G, architecture aspects, native AI, and security. The speakers will also highlight the technical and business/ecosystem challenges related to integrated mobile and satellite communications from both research and standardization perspectives.
