How do I upgrade my AXIe Arbitrary Waveform Generator?
The majority of the arbitrary waveform generator options that are sold at the time of instrument purchase are also available as an upgrade option.
Most of the upgrade options are software upgrades that can be accomplished by the user.
On purchase of a software upgrade, you will receive an entitlement certificate that will allow you to log on to the Keysight License website and redeem your license. The software can then be activated on the arbitrary generator by entering the obtained license key.
Entitlement certificates are available for paper and/or electronic (email) delivery. If you select an email delivery option, you will be sent an electronic copy of the entitlement certificate, often on the same day. There is no additional cost for this service.
For hardware upgrades, the instrument has to be sent to a Keysight Service Center.
