Is there a Firmware Update available to make the E1412A work with NI-VISA v2.5 or Higher Event Handling?

At this time, there is no firmware update available for the E1412A to allow it to work with NI-VISA v2.5 or higher.

occurs when the VISA implementation turns on VISA Event Handling in addition to the reads and write to communicate with the E1412A. The work-around is to disable or turn off Event Handling when preparing to read from the DMM. The above FAQ at ni.com provides detailed information on implementing this work-around.
