3852 Error 51 - Symbol Table Full

The size of the symbol table at power-up allows 138 entries. These entries represent all declared and downloaded variables, arrays, and subroutines.

If the error message above is received, the size of the symbol table can be increased using the SYMSIZE command. This command requires that the mainframe have revision 3.0 or greater firmware. The Command Reference manual discusses the use of this command further.

Note: The symbol table size is stored in volatile memory and is therefore reset to the default value after RESET and power cycling.
