Why is the capacitance measured for a liquid material with the 16452A unstable?

First, make sure whether the liquid material is ionic or not. Basically, ionic liquid materials cannot be measured with the 16452A. If the liquid is ionic or contains ionic impurity, the electrode polarization causes artificial phenomenon and unstable capacitance measurement results.
