The purpose of this sample is to show how to use VEE to configure and retrieve data from a 34970A. Once started, the program will query the 34970A for identification, date, time and module configuration. If a DMM and slot 1 multiplexer module are both found, the program will go on to measure and plot results. A "Select Function" box can be used to select the type of measurement and a "Channel #" box can be used to select the measurement channel. The selected function will be shown on the 34970A display and on the graph label once the program is started. Measurements will be collected from the DMM and displayed in the graph along with a running average.

If you have installed VEE, you can open the sample program by double-clicking on it or by using VEE's File > Open or File > Open Example menu items. To utilize VEE's Instrument Manager's "Load Sample" capabilities with the sample program, copy the sample program and the .xml file (with the same name as the VEE sample program) into the following directory:
