Hello!
I would like to clarify the following situation:
The analyzer of optical components N4373 consists of two parts: the vector network analyzer and an optical measuring unit N4373-101. Production of these components occurs are separately. How does the calibration of these components: separately or only as part of the analyzer N4373C? Is there a technical possibility to calibrate the modules separately?

Hello motoman89,
Like you say, the N4373C and other LCA models does include a network analyzer that has its own complete calibration. This instrument is then included in the production and calibration of the N4373C that incorporates the electro-optical instrumentation. So there is not an independent calibration procedure for the optical measurement unit and the specifications are achieved by calibration as an integrated unit.
Best regards,
Mike
