DSO8064A uncertain in time measurement

Hello

I need to define in my measurement report the DSO8064 uncertain in time base.

How to calculate ?

Any help is aprecied...

the time scale accuracy (TSA) is called out in the data sheets as:


±(15 + 2 • (years since manufacture)) ppm

so, if it was "just" built, the TSA is 15 PPM.

e.g. if you capture 1 second, the max error between the start and stop of that 1 second is 15 us.

this represents the (worst case) SYSTEMATIC part of the error.

OTOH, in the service guide, it calls out how to do a Performance Verification (PV). You can do these tests and know what you TSA actually is.
