3070 05.32pc contains the ASSET InterTech ScanWorks version 3.6. This Software Update is around 202 MB.

This Software Update may be installed only on MS Windows systems with 3070 05.32pb. This update can be installed on systems with 3070 Test System Software or 3070 Development Software.

The Software Update must be installed by the administrator login (or a login with administrator privileges).

Installation Instructions

To download\Install the 3070 05.32pc Software Update that includes ScanWorks 3.6 on Windows systems running the 3070 05.32pb software release:

Note: It is recommended to make an image of your controller prior to installing this patch.

1. Kill rmiserver and rmiregistry process using Task Manger.
2. Go to Control Panel\Add Remove Programs.
3. Select ScanWorks 3.4. Click on Change\Remove.
4. Click on Next in the InstallShield Wizard to uninstall ScanWorks.
5. Click on 3070 05.32pc 0804 WN with ScanWorks 3.6 Download. Save this file to disk. You will need 500MB of free space to download this file and extract the installation files.
6. Close all open programs.
7. Go to the directory in which the file was saved and double-click on Keysight3070_0532pc_withScanWorks.exe.
8. The WinZip Self-Extractor will ask you where to extract the installation file. The default location is c:\3070Update. Make sure that you have at least 300 MB of space available to extract the installation files.
9. Follow the Install Shield instructions for installation.
10. Delete the file Keysight3070_0532pc_withScanWorks.exe.
11. To validate that the software installed correctly, bring up a Korn Shell window. On the menu bar, click START then click Programs then click Keysight3070 then click Korn Shell. In the Korn Shell window, type version and return. The software revision "3070 05.32pc 0804 WN" should display.
12. Delete the directory where you extracted the installation files.
13. Re-boot the Controller.
