The IntuiLink software for 34980A is scheduled to be discontinued on February 1, 2009.

The recommended software for the 34980A is BenchLink Data Logger available with the instrument and on the BenchLink Data Logger Web page.

This free software is an Add-In for Microsoft ® Excel 2000 or later.

The Keysight 34980A IntuiLink for Excel enables the 34980A Multifunction Switch/Measure Unit for data collection in MS Excel. It sets up the multiplexer modules for scanning, and downloads the data after each sweep. Each channel list can be monitored individually to assist in troubleshooting and measurements.

Functionality

  • Operate the 34980A from MS Excel and insert data directly into Excel
  • Data may be inserted in user selected worksheet
  • The monitor function may be recorded as a macro with the Excel Macro Recorder

Note: You must have the Keysight IO libraries Suite version 14 or later installed including VISA COM or National Instruments NI-488.2 v2.3 with VISA v3.1 or later. This Excel Add-In works with Keysight or with NI GPIB cards when the updated I/O is installed. When using with GPIB, LAN or USB the connections must first be configured on the PC.

Download the self extracting file and execute to start the installation. After installing the Excel Add-In go to Start Programs > Keysight IntuiLink and select the 34980A IntuiLink for Excel Help File to learn how to enable the 34980A IntuiLink Add-In in Excel.

Any previous versions of this application must be uninstalled prior to this installation.
