3070 05.31 Board Conversion Tool for B.03.6x and B.03.8x Test Systems

The Keysight 3070 Board Conversion tool is used to convert the ASCII text files in a board directory for cross-platform compatibility between HP-UX and MS Windows operating systems. Text files contained in the board directory are merged into a single compressed file. The executable files are regenerated by IPG Test Consultant.

A version of the conversion tool is already installed on all Keysight 3070/79000 controllers with version 04.00 or later software. This download will install the Conversion tool onto HP-UX controllers with older B.03.6x or B.03.8x software.

The conversion tool will not work properly on a board directory that is corrupt, or one which has missing source files. Before converting a board directory you should run Test Consultant to check it's integrity.

3070 B.03.6x or B.03.8x software must be installed on your HP-UX system before installing Keysight 3070 Conversion Tool.

To download on Unix systems running 3070 B.03.6X or B.03.8X software releases:

1. Click on "3070 Conversion Tool 05.31 UX Download." Approximately 4 MB of available space will be necessary to perform the decompression, and the final decompressed size of the file will be 2.2 MB.
2. In the download box, change the "Selection:" to reflect the location to which you want to download (/var/tmp/cTool_05.31.pkg is recommended).
3. Change to the directory to which the software package was downloaded (/var/tmp).
4. Users already familiar with swinstall, may continue installation specifying a "Source Depot Type" of "Local Directory" and a "Source Depot Path..." of "/var/tmp/cTool_05.31.pkg". Users not familiar with swinstall should click on "Swinstall Instructions" to download detailed instructions. In a shell window, enter: "/usr/local/bin/X11/acroread [path/]UsingSwinstall.PDF".
5. To download documentation on the Conversion tool, click on "Conversion Tool Instructions". To view this file, in a shell window enter: "/usr/local/bin/X11/acroread [path/]BoardConvert.PDF.
