Instrument Firmware versions prior to A.05.03.12 must be used with a specific revision of the WLAN Test Suite. The table below shows the correlation between Instrument Firmware and WLAN Test Suite revisions.
This restriction was relaxed at Instrument Firmware version A.05.03.12 and WLAN Test Suite version 5.5.2:
Instrument Firmware revision A.05.03.12 can be used with WLAN Test Suite revision 5.5.2 or later.
WLAN Test Suite revision 5.5.2 can be used with Instrument Firmware revision A.05.03.12 or later.
When a new version of the WLAN Test Suite is available, the table below will indicate which revision of Instrument Firmware was current at that time.
Note that WLAN Test Suite releases from 5.5.2 onwards do not have duplicate entries in the table, as correlation is no longer necessary.
Please note that in some instances it is possible to downgrade the Instrument Firmware to an older revision without impacting the operational stability or measurement integrity of the unit, but this is not always the case. There are various factors that must be taken into account before attempting a downgrade
