Keysight Medalist x6000 1.13 Software Patch

The Keysight x6000 1.13 software patch contains changes to the x6000 software which add several new features and corrects several issues for test development and test execution. Details of the 1.13 new features and solutions are contained in the release notes. This is a not a complete x6000 software installation. The x6000 must have version 1.1, 1.11, or 1.12 software installed prior to installing this patch. This patch can be used on both the system and off-line test development stations. Licenses do not need to be updated for this patch.

New documentation is also available for download and installation. The new documentation includes updates to the Keysight Supported Application Programming (ASAP) documents and details on the new features. Included in the documentation is also several improvements and additions to the hardware and software support sections.

Installation Instructions for the 1.13 Patch:

1. Ensure that software version 1.1, 1.11 or 1.12 has been previously installed. This patch will not work on any 1.0 version of software. You may verify that 1.1, 1.11 or 1.12 has been installed by checking the system revision number at the top right of the x6000 user interface home screen.
2. If installing on the system then stop inspections and unload all panels from the system.
3. Exit out of the User Interface.
4. Download the file x6000_1_13_patch.zip file and extract all files to a temporary directory located on the local drive.
5. From Windows Explorer, double click on the setup.exe file to begin installation.
6. Follow the installation prompts.
7. When installation is completed, the installation script will automatically close.
8. Double-click the Keysight Medalist x6000 Application icon to restart the User Interface.
9. You may verify that the patch has been properly installed by checking the system revision number at the top right of the x6000 user interface home screen. The number should reflect 1.13 after the installation of the patch.

Installation Instructions for the Documentation:

1. If installing on the system then stop inspections and unload all panels from the system.
2. Exit out of the User Interface.
3. Download the file x6000_docs.zip file and extract all files to a temporary directory located on the local drive.
4. From Windows Explorer, double click on the setup.exe file to begin installation.
5. Follow the installation prompts.
6. When installation is completed, click on Finish to complete the installation.
