The E4411A VXI Plug&Play driver is designed for computers operating either 1Windows®95® or 1Windows®NT® Version 3.51 or higher. The driver requires a VISA-compatible GPIB interface and the VISA I/O Library Version 1.1 or higher. Programming with this driver does not depend upon an I/O library specific to your brand of GPIB interface, thus your programming code becomes much more portable. The 1Visual Basic® and 1Visual C++/Borland C++® Programming Examples using this driver are built-in to the 1Windows® Help file for the driver. The driver is compatible with all of the following programming environments:

  • 1Microsoft Visual Basic® Version 4.0 or higher - 1Microsoft Visual C++® Version 4.0 or higher
  • 2Borland C++® Version 4.5 or higher - VEE Version 3.2 or higher
  • National Instruments 3LabWindows/CVI® Version 4.0.1 or higher - National Instruments 3LabVIEW® Version 4.0.1 or higher
