When I print the 35670A trace display to the raster printer connected to the analyzer, why am I getting a smaller printout?

Sometimes, while printing the trace from the 35670A to a raster printer connected to analyzer, the dimensions of the trace printed might come out to be SMALL.

When the raster printer is chosen as the destination printer, the printer resolution needs to be tweaked to, say 75dpi, to get a bigger trace dimension. The keystrokes involved to complete this process are as follows:

  1. Press the hardkey Plot/Print
  2. Choose the Plot/Prnt Destination as Output to HP-IB or Output to Parallel or Output to Serial
  3. Go back to the previous menu by pressing the hardkey Rtn
  4. Choose the Plot/Prnt Device as Raster Printer
  5. Go back to the previous menu by pressing the hardkey Rtn
  6. Press More Setup softkey and then press the Printer Resolutn softkey. Then, choose the lowest dpi value, such as "75dpi". This sets the largest dimension for the trace that can be printed on the raster printer.
