How do I save my trace data in a comma-separated variable (.csv) file format on an ESA, PSA or EMC spectrum analyzer?
Answer
On the front panel of the analyzer, press [File]{Save} and select either the A: (floppy) or C: (internal) drive using the {Dir Up} and {Dir Select} softkeys.
Then use the following softkeys to configure and save the trace data:
- {Type}{Trace}
- {Format}{CSV}
- {Source} either {All Traces}, {Trace 1}, {Trace 2} or {Trace 3}
- {Name} enter your filename (optional)
- {Save Now}
If you have saved the file to the floppy drive, you can now transfer the disk to your PC and open the saved file with most spreadsheet programs.
