Why is the AC to DC power supply for my E7495A/B Base Station Test Set not working?

The AC to DC power supply has an internal circuit breaker that can trip if the center conductor of the power supply is shorted to the E7495A/B case. To reset the circuit breaker, unplug the AC cord to the power supply, turn the power switch to OFF. After a few seconds the internal circuit breaker will reset, plug the AC cord in and turn the power switch back to ON.

To prevent the internal circuit breaker from tripping, turn the AC to DC power supply OFF or unplug the AC cord prior to plugging the DC output connector into the E7495A/B.
