It is normal for the 1670x logic analyzer to generate errors during the re-ignite process. After initiating the process, it is usually best to step away from the machine and allow plenty of time to complete (i.e. at least one full hour). If the process hangs at the same point for 30 minutes or more, there may be a problem. Try the procedure a second time. If the process hangs up again, the analyzer may be in need of hardware repair.
Before sending your unit for repair, please verify that your BIOS settings are correct. It is possible that the machine has completed the reignite procedure yet is not booting to the Graphical User Interface due to incorrect BIOS settings. See: Why won't my 16700-series analyzer boot properly?
