By scheduling the EXM analyzer/generator precisely with the device control for transmitting/receiving, the IoT automation test reference solution maximizes the efficiency and use of the EXM. E6640A EXM wireless test set

Designed for next-generation mobile and wireless device test, EXM is scalable to meet your production needs and in-sync with the latest cellular and WLAN chipsets. The EXM delivers the speed, accuracy, and port density you need to ramp-up rapidly and optimize full-volume manufacturing.

Software

The IoT automation test reference solution includes automated test software, as well as the EXM hardware with integrated X-Series measurement applications that can be used with every TRX module used with the EXM.

Signal analysis

EXM is ready to test 2G, 3G, and 4G cellular including the latest LTE-Advanced carrier aggregation, as well as various wireless connectivity standards such as Bluetooth, WLAN 802.11a/b/g/n/j/p/ac/ah/af, WLAN MIMO, ZigBee, Z-Wave, and others.

Signal creation

The IoT automation test reference solution enables multiple ways to create the RF signal. A range of standard waveforms generated with the Keysight Signal Studio software applications are supported. The reference solution programming interface also supports importing customer-supplied waveforms.

Signal Studio

Keysight Signal Studio software is a flexible test suite of signal-creation and measurement tools that reduces the time you spend on signal simulation. Signal Studio’s basic capabilities use waveform playback mode to create and customize waveform files needed to test components and transmitters.

Chipset Vendor Automation Tool

The IoT automation test reference solution software has simplified the test plan setup and minimized instrument parameter setup, reducing testing complexity.
