How do I upgrade my E6610A Remote Radio Head Tester?
Most all of the E6610A options that are sold at the time of instrument purchase are also available as an upgrade option. Before any upgrade is purchased and installed, the following steps must be considered.
- Read the install note by selecting the Install Note link (if listed) in the Upgrade Contents column to understand the level of complexity.
- Determine whether you will perform the upgrade yourself or have a Keysight Service Center do the install for you.
- Some upgrades may require adjustments and performance verification testing. If this is required, the instrument must be return to a Keysight Service Center.
- If an upgrade option is going to be installed by a Keysight Service Center, additional labor charges may apply. Your Keysight field engineer can provide an all inclusive quote for this.
- Upgrade options can be license key enabled. Once an entitlement certificate is received, the license key file can be redeemed at the Keysight Software License Redemption Website
- Keysight recommends updating the E6610A GUI software and firmware to the most current version whenever an upgrade is installed into the instrument.
