Yes, you may have both Y-Applications and V-Applications on the same E6640A EXM. Typically these will be for different applications, for example you may have an application where you need to use very few waveforms (e.g. WiMAX) and so V9075B with the included waveform slots is sufficient. In addition, on this same EXM, you may want to do WLAN testing where you need hundreds of waveforms. In this case the Y9077B would be more cost effective.
