How does the N7609B calculate the total output power in relation to the number of visible satellites during a scenario?

When you initially turn on the simulation, the Satellite Settings page will update the “Power” column to show the power of each satellite in dBm. The total output power will always be the sum of the power values for each satellite shown on this page, which is updated in real-time. Initially this will be equal to the amplitude setting on the “Instrument” setup page. For example, with the default scenario file containing 16 satellites and the default Instrument power setting of -100 dBm, each satellite is outputting -112.04 dBm. But if you apply a power offset to any satellite, the power of that satellite will change while the other satellite power levels remain the same, and the total power will no longer equal the power setting on the “Instrument” page since that is not updated in real-time.
