Unsigned assembly error with 89600 VSA software version 16.00

An error message can occur with version 16.00 at startup that looks similar to one of these two pictures. 

This error only occurs when the following is true:

• Running Windows XP
• Not connected to the internet
• Windows Updates have not been applied

To correct this error upgrade to version 16.01 or greater.
