As its PCI predecessors, the SMX2040 provides a combination of resolution, accuracy, and speed that surpasses rivals. This family of 6-1/2-digit DMMs plugs into anyPXI™ or CompactPCI™ chassis. It has all the functionality and performance expected of a high-end bench top DMM, and a lot more. The SMX2040 series is designed as a universal, multifunction DMM. The plug-in design provides the convenience of automated measurement and cost efficiency in the smallest possible footprint, with no compromise in performance. The front panel for the SMX2040 series DMMs appears on your PC monitor. All of the familiar DMM controls are available on this virtual front panel. You have the option to control the SMX2040 without any programming or configuration using your mouse to manipulate the virtual front panel controls straight out of the box. Signal leads go straight from the SMX2040 in your PXI™ or compactPCI™ chassis to the device under test or a SMX4000 relay scanner. It could not be more straightforward.
