Does Keysight offer a fixture to position and hold the N1021B and N1020A TDR probes?

The N1020A single ended TDR probe ships with an EZ Probe Positioner from Cascade Microtech. The positioner allows for X-Y-Z movement and holds the probe firmly in place for TDR measurements. An image of the N1020A with the EZ Probe Positioner is shown in Figure 1.

An adapter is included with the N1021B to directly mount the differential TDR probe to the Cascade Microtech EZ Probe Positioner. Note the N1021B does not ship with a probe positioner. However, Keysight offers a standalone 3D probe holder, N2787A, which can be purchased separately. An image of the N1021B connected to the N2787A is shown in Figure 2.

To operate the N1021B with the N2787A turn the "tilt" knob (A) all the way to its stop. After the tips are positioned and the fixture is tightened, loosen the clamp knob (B) and slide the probe down to compress the tips. The N2787A arm is able to compress the N1021B spring loaded probe tips to insure firm contact with the device under test.
