What is the minimum size SMD (surface mount device) that the Keysight 16095A probe test fixture can measure?

The 16095A Probe Test Fixture is provided with three DUT connection options:

1. Via the standard probe tip
2. Via the alligator clip adapter
3. Via the BNC adapter

The 16095A standard probe tip diameter is approximately 1.mm. Due to the tip diameter; it may be possible to measure 0603 SMD components. However, the 16095A is not suitable for 0201 SMD tests due to the small size of 0201 devices. The 16095A Probe Test Fixture is optimized for in-circuit board-mounted component tests.

The following Keysight 4-terminal pair fixtures are optimized for SMD measurements: 16034E; 16034G; 16034H; 16044A; 16334A; 16043A/B. If utilizing a 4-terminal pair instrument and testing SMD components please consider utilizing one these fixtures rather than the 16095A.
