No, you cannot use a normal USB cable for datalogging with the U1250B Series Handheld Digital Multimeters. The U1250B Series has infrared (IR) ports only. Therefore, connectivity with your PC cannot be established by using normal USB cables. You need a U1173A IR-USB connectivity cable in order to connect the handheld multimeter with PC. This cable is available as optional accessory.
