Keysight Technologies, Inc. listened to your feedback and took action. We took our popular front panel design and graphical user interface (GUI) from the PNA-X and incorporated it into our newest PNA and PNA-L network analyzers.

The price of upgrading includes a new front panel with improved GUI, installation at an Keysight service center, full recalibration, and conversion to a “C” model with extended support life. Time your upgrade to concur with your analyzer’s calibration cycle and save the cost of your yearly calibration.
The upgrade is performed by removing the existing front panel assembly, removing the internal loppy disk drive (the new design does not allow for a loppy disk drive), installing a new pre-programmed hard drive and installing a new front panel assembly with color LCD touch screen, soft key interface, an additional USB port, and modiied hard key layout.
The upgrade requires that your PNA has a 1.1 GHz CPU board. Older PNAs may have a 500 MHz CPU board that will need to be replaced at the time of the front panel upgrade. The easiest way to tell which board you have is to view the rear panel of your PNA; if there are two GPIB interface connectors, you have the newer 1.1 GHz CPU. If required, the new CPU board is not included in the front panel upgrade kit. It can be obtained by ordering part number E8364-60026.
