What are channel limits?

Limits can be set on multiplexer, totalizer and digital read channels (see the limit types question below). Limits can then be used to trigger an event (events are configured on the “Configure Events” tab). For example, if the measurement function is set to temperature, you can specify a limit to occur when the temperature exceeds 25 degrees C. In this case, the configured event might stop the scan on this scan list and start the scan on another scan list.
