Why can't I acquire the license key?

The license key and the computer's fingerprint ID are accessed during the runtime of PFL. The fingerprint ID is calculated from a unique ID within the operating computer. This is by default the unique address of the network card, but the search will continue on failure to the CPU -ID and last to the the hard disc- ID.
To rely on the CPU- ID remove the network-card before installing the PFL.
If this fails, check:

* If you have a trial license installed, the license may have expired.
To obtain detailed information about your license, use the Diagnostic tool to run a SW-Layer diagnosis.
* If you have a server-based license, all the available licenses may be in use, or the license server may have failed.
