Is there an ECal that covers the lower frequency of the E5071C down to 9 kHz?

(SUPPORTED MODELS IN BOLD: E5071C E5072A E5070B/71B E5070A/71A E5061A/62A E5061B E5063A E5091A E5092A)

The N4431B is shipped with 9 kHz to 13.5 GHz performance data starting from December 2008. You need to update your E5071C firmware to A.09.10 or later to use the performance data from 9 kHz to 300 kHz. To download the firmware A.09.10 or later, visit E5071C Network Analyzers Firmware Update page.

For updated characteristic performance of the N4431B, refer to the chapter 5 of the Keysight Electronic Calibration Modules Reference Guide.

When you have the N4431B that was shipped with 300 kHz to 13.5 GHz performance, or N4431A with 300 kHz to 9 GHz, you can use them down to 9 kHz by updating the E5071C firmware to A.09.10 or later. For more detail, refer to the technical overview, E5071C ENA Calibration Down to 9 kHz Using the N4431A/B 4-port ECal Modules.

Keysight 85093 series 2-port ECal modules function well down to 300 kHz. For lower frequency use down to 9 kHz, refer to the N4431B 4-port ECal module. This is the only current ECal module for use below 300 kHz. It is possible to characterize 85093 series 2-port ECal modules below 300 kHz but this process is not a traceable calibration and performance is degraded caused by its hardware characteristics especially below 100 kHz.
