Option RTS is necessary for streaming bandwidths greater than 40 MHz. Either real-time option, RT1 or RT2, is required. Even though these options are license key enabled, they require the analyzer to have B85, B1X, B2X, or B5X.

Option RTS is a hardware and license key upgrade. Therefore, this upgrade requires the analyzer to be returned to Keysight.

Why is Option DP2 or B40 recommended on the spectrum analyzer (EXA, MXA, PXA) with the EMI Measurement Application(N6141A)?
Time Domain Scan (TDS), Monitor Spectrum, and Amplitude Probability Distribution (APD) all require 2 GB of Capture memory (option DP2). Option B40 includes DP2, so having either option B40 or DP2 will work equally as well for N6141A.

Option H1G also includes the B2X digitizer. Therefore, option H1G is supported by all applications that support B2X up to at least 255 MHz bandwidth. Option H1G additionally provides 1 GHz analysis bandwidth for some other measurement applications.
