FAQ 2017-06-28

Is it possible to add the N9080B-2TP with the N9080B-1FP installed on the X-Series Analyzer? Should the N9080B-2FP be used instead?
Yes, this is possible. A combination of fixed and transportable licenses can be used.

FAQ 2017-06-28

For signals requiring wider bandwidth, how can Keysight’s LTE Signal Studio waveform creation products be used to increase carrier spacing?
Set the FFT length to 8192 and a sample rate of 800 MHz. Subcarrier spacing = sampleRate/FFT size

FAQ 2017-06-28

N9080B SEM measurement defaults seem to be different from 3GPP 36.141 V12.12.0 (2016-06). Is N9080B doing something it shouldn’t?
To make a “True RMS detection”, as requested by the 3GPP conformance testing, based on ITU-R SM.329, for a mix of noise-like & CW-like signals under test, use “Peak Detector with very narrow VBW”. Click on the question for additional information.

FAQ 2017-06-28

Why has Keysight changed the N9069C licensing structure model?
The N9069C licensing structure model has been collapsed as a customer ordering convenience. Click on the question for additional information.
