Rapid Prototyping Methods for Embedded System Development: Reduce Time-to-Market
This paper¹ describes how FPGA and logic synthesis technologies have enabled firmware development to run in parallel with ASIC design. This has reduced the number of design cycles and increased the probability that first silicon will meet all the system requirements. Integration and debug methodologies are described.
