1 For Bluetooth Low Energy (LE), NOC and EOC tests are the same except for the operating conditions, EOC requires extreme temperature, air humidity, supply voltage, which do not impact the test equipment requirements.

2 The C/I performance receiver test requires an additional signal source with Bluetooth capability such as the E6640A, N4010A, N5182A MXG, or the E4438C ESG for the interfering signal.

3 The blocking performance receiver test requires a Bluetooth modulated source such as the E6640A, N4010A, N5182A MXG or E4438C ESG and a microwave signal source such as the N5183A MXG Analog Signal Generator or E8257D PSG to generate the interfering signal (30 MHz to 12.75 GHz).

4 The intermodulation performance receiver test requires two Bluetooth modulated sources such as the E6640A, N4010A, N5182A MXG, or E4438C ESG and one CW/analog source such as the MXG N5181A, N5183A MXG, E4428C ESG or the E8257D PSG to generate intermodulation.

5 N4010A-101 for Bluetooth required for Bluetooth 1.2 tests. Option 101 and Option 107 required for Bluetooth EDR tests. Option 101 and Option 109 required for Bluetooth LE tests.
