ADS Wireless Libraries

Keysight's wireless libraries provide "Golden Reference" models and verification templates for the latest communication standards to the Advanced Design System (ADS), the flagship product from Keysight EEsof EDA, the technology and innovation leader in high-frequency mixed-signal electronic design automation (EDA). ADS is the only design simulation platform that enables the co-design of IC, package and board in high-frequency and hi-speed applications. It seamlessly integrates system, circuit, full 3D electromagnetic simulation with Keysight’s test instrumentation for you to do single pass successful electronic designs repeatedly.

Keysight’s Wireless Libraries for ADS enable the earliest possible start for the design and verification of the RF-PHY for the latest emerging wireless standards such as 3GPP-LTE, WiMedia and VWAN. These wireless libraries contain comprehensive signal processing models and pre-configured simulation setups with sources and demodulation that comply fully with the latest wireless specifications. The signal generation and demodulation algorithms are fully consistent with Keysight instrumentation to bring instrument-level compliance and accuracy into your RF-PHY simulation and verification. Unlike any other wireless verification solutions, Keysight ADS wireless libraries will always be first to emerge along with the latest standards because of Keysight Technologies’ active participation in the standards-setting committees and is critical for timely instrumentation design and development.

ADS Wireless Libraries are unique in enabling "Connected Solutions" with Keysight instruments to generate and import actual waveforms for the verification of RF hardware designs such as RFIC, RF modules or RF PCB. By combining the baseband algorithmic accuracy of the wireless library models with actual RF/IF HW measurements integration and testing of a high performance RF-PHY subsystems can be accelerated. E.g. designers can measure and optimize the EVM, ACLR of RF power amplifiers, transmitter and receiver components for multi-mode, multi-band operations.
