Description

SystemVue 2011.10 is a new release of SystemVue that primarily focuses on Emerging Comms and Defense. It also provides key improvements for design flows and the core platform.

SystemVue ESL Design SoftwareNew Standards Supported

  • SystemVue 2011.10 provides the EDA industry’s first commercial PHY reference libraries for 5 GHz emerging WLAN standard 802.11ac (W1917EP), as well as the emerging 802.11ad standard 60 GHz (W1915EP)
  • An HSDPA reference blockset has been add to the 3G library (W1916EP), for verifying 4G compatibility with legacy 3G systems
  • The Radar model library has been extended to automotive applications (FMCW), and additional capability for digital and synthetic aperture (DAR, SAR) radars. (W1905EP)
  • All the above enhancements are free support upgrades to owners of each existing library product

New Instrument Connectivity

  • Keysight Command Expert integration provides expanded instrument discovery, SCPI/IVI programming, directly from within the SystemVue user interface
  • Expanded support for support for M8190A AWG and Keysight PXI Modular instrument families
  • The W1716EP DPD Builder now supports simulation-based extraction, as well as streamlined UI support for Keysight PXI Modular instruments and custom user-defined DPD algorithms

New Design Flow Improvements

  • New HDL code-generation controller (W1717EP), which connects fixed-point models through VHDL/Verilog RTL, and further into hardware synthesis with Xilinx ISE 13
  • Expanded C++ code generation library, now supporting 131 signal processing models from schematic to Microsoft Visual C++ and into virtual platforms for modeling and verification (W1718EP)
  • IBIS AMI model generation support for mode compilation on Linux x64 platforms, as well as simulator support for crosstalk aggressors (W1714EP)
  • Filter Designer support for rational S-domain filters, and direct integration with optional fixed-point library

Simulation Improvements

  • “Signal combiner” component resamples and time-aligns multiple unrelated signals for interference studies and “Multi-Standard Radio ” (MSR) support
  • Expanded support for multi-threading
  • Spectrasys “spectrum sweep” feature for easier spur analysis (W1719EP)

Core Platform Improvements

  • Native 64-bit support for Windows 7, for large simulations, especially MIMO
  • Lower memory requirements
  • Automatic Workspace Recovery performs periodic auto-saves in the background, allowing interrupted work to be resumed with little loss of effort. (W1461BP)
